Groups of all sizes can book a private, sole-use room at Attic!
Attic allows our guests to book entirely private sole-use dorms. This allows groups, families and smaller groups of friends to book any room, or rooms, here at The Attic without having to share the room with strangers.
The Attic is not the cheapest hostel in the Auckland market. As an award-winning property, we are not interested in competing with other cheap, over-crowded, dirty, uncomfortable and noisy party hostels.
Attic Backpackers is instead aiming to be the best ‘budget accommodation with shared living facilities’ in Auckland CBD. Our dormitories and rooms are designed with a spacious and luxurious experience in mind. Our staff endeavour to provide a clean and friendly environment for all our guests!
The Attic has multiple dormitory sizes and therefore we can appeal to private groups of any size. Private dorms are available from our Twin bed room (2 single beds) right through to 12 bed dormitories. Subject to availability, the hostel can cater for groups up to 100 guests, but will often be hosting several smaller groups all with their own ‘private dorm’ to suit the budget and size of the group that has booked.
We often host groups of friends attending local events and concerts, sports groups, youth groups, school groups during the week, University groups and families. Groups love our various size dorms and school and sports groups will often book two or more private dorms to allocate male and female guests.
