Attic Backpackers opened in 2014 and as of August 2021, we have had the pleasure of hosting over 70,000 guests, here at our award winning hostel.
The Attic has maintained a fabulous guest rating well over 8.0 on all our sales channels since opening and is usually Auckland’s highest-rating hostel. The Attic regularly hosts multiple groups at any one time. Groups are able to book private, sole-use dormitory rooms, these rooms range in size and are able to comfortably host between 4 to 12 persons. They’re a brilliant option to keep costs low and to keep the crew, team or whānau together while they’re here in Auckland, whatever the reason. Whether that’s to to attend events, concerts, sports or just a big night out!

Regardless of whether you are an individual traveller, a group of friends or a larger group, we ask the following;

✔️ Respect your fellow guests – keep noise to a limit, allow other guests a good nights sleep, tidy up after yourself.
✔️ Respect and thank our small team who work hard to provide you with an affordable, clean, friendly and safe environment.
✔️ Don’t damage the property as we want to be able to welcome future guests
✔️ Guests (of legal age) are welcome to enjoy a social drink on our rooftop terrace and social areas.
✔️ Excessive consumption of alcohol and rowdy, loud or non-inclusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
✔️ Respect other guests who may be asleep, if you plan on returning to the hostel after 11 PM
