In addition to individual travellers, The Attic welcomes groups and family bookings of all sizes.
Organisors will appreciate the ability to book entire private dorms to ensure your group has sole use of dorm/s and without having to book multiple individual beds. In addition to single, twin and double rooms, our dorms range from 4 to 14 beds and subject to availability we will do our best to allocate groups with multiple rooms together. There’s plenty of common room space to meet and relax at the hostel. In addition to our great CBD location, groups will enjoy our large kitchen area, covered roof terrace, female and male shared bathroom facilities.
Attic has successfully hosted family groups, groups of friends travelling into Auckland city for events, games, concerts or the weekend away, age groups teams attending competitions or events, small and large community groups and several youth groups.
The Attic welcomes families and group bookings with children over the age of 9, providing children are accompanied for the duration of their reservation by a responsible adult or guardian. We understand the requirements of under 18 groups and will work closely with organisers and tour leaders prior to arrival

GREAT STAFF
We have staff rostered between 7 AM and 11 PM and a night duty phone available in the event of any emergencies outside these hours. Our team will work with group organisers prior to arrival in regard to any requirements you might have and how best to allocate rooms, schedule meals and dining options etc.
SECURITY
The Attic has long been highly regarded by our reviewers as a haven in the hustle and bustle of New Zealand’s biggest city. With two PIN coded security doors for access and the main public areas of the hostel covered by CCTV – you can rest assured safety is important at The Attic.
All rooms have individual key access so your group can lock and leave rooms. Our hostel is all on one floor which is also great for keeping your group together. We do not have a bar onsite. Guests are welcome to drink in our communal areas and have 24 hour access to the hostel after a great night out in Auckland city, but we value and ask that everyone respects other guests right to a good night sleep and keep noise levels in the hostel to a respectable level and particularly after 11 PM. Our Chill and TV rooms at the far end of the hostel are open 24/7 for any night owls.

In addition to staying right in the city centre, enjoy the opportunity and fun of mixing with other guests in a co-living shared facility environment. All our beds come with linen, the kitchen is well equipped, we have a great outdoor covered terrace and our wonderful team is on hand to assist with any cleaning.
The Attic is a social and shared environment, so your group will need to clean your own dishes after use, and leave the kitchen and bathroom respectable for other Guests use.

The Attic couldn’t be better located, once you’re here, you won’t need to use any other forms of transport. The Attic is literally 50 metres away from Queen Street, sits in the shadow of the Skytower, Viaduct and Harbour are 15 minutes away, and it’s just a hop, skip and a 20 minute walk to Spark Arena.
The Atrium on Elliot Food Court and Elliot Stables eateries are directly below us and a Countdown Metro supermarket is only 3-5 minutes walk away too.
